CRP RRBs-XV - 13,706 Office Assistant and Officer Posts Across the Regional Rural Banks | IBPS
IBPS has notified CRP RRB-XV, the fifteenth common recruitment process for Regional Rural Banks, covering Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Officer Scale I, II and III across the participating RRBs. On the total: the figure of 13,706 being reported is correct, and we verified it rather than repeating it - summing the total column across all 270 bank rows in IBPS's Annexure I gives exactly 13,706. The notification itself never states that number in prose; it appears only as the sum of the annexure, which is why coverage of it varies. Vacancies are notified bank by bank and state by state, and a candidate applies against ONE state only, ranked against that state's pool. As an illustration of how uneven the distribution is: Jammu and Kashmir Grameen Bank has notified 244 posts - Office Assistant 200, Officer Scale I 32, Officer Scale II (IT) 6, Officer Scale II (Law) 3 and Officer Scale III 3 - while notifying nothing at all in Officer Scale II General Banking, CA, Treasury, Marketing or Agriculture. Several other RRBs show zeroes across entire post categories. Read your own state's rows before deciding which post to apply for. Office Assistant (Multipurpose) asks for a bachelor's degree in any discipline plus proficiency in the local language the participating RRB prescribes. No experience is required and computer knowledge is desirable rather than essential. Officer Scale I asks for a degree with preference for specified streams; Scale II and III carry their own qualification and experience bars. Local language requirements are set per RRB and vary widely - some banks name a single language, others as many as ten. Age as on 1 September 2026 is 18 to 28 for Office Assistant and above 18 to below 30 for Officer Scale I, with the higher scales on their own bands. Selection is a preliminary examination followed by a main examination, with an interview for the officer cadre. Office Assistant posts are allotted on the main examination alone. Pre-Examination Training is scheduled for November 2026 and the interviews are tentatively set for January or February 2027. The fee is Rs 850, reduced to Rs 175 for SC, ST and PwBD candidates, and for ex-servicemen in the Office Assistant stream. Registration and fee payment run 1 to 21 September 2026, with an edit window for two days after closure. Applications are accepted only through ibps.in. (The vacancy counter on this listing reads 9,999 because our board caps that field; the real total is 13,706, as set out above.)
