Where scores tie, the older year ranks higher, then the older candidate, then the higher percentage in the essential qualification. The essential qualification is a pass in M.Sc., MS, MCA, B.E. or B.Tech in Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Sciences, Computer and Networking Security, Software System, Information Technology or Informatics, held as on the closing date.
